OK guys, I want to talk about why people failto increase their vertical jump. I want to lay down exactly how you can start increasingyour vertical jump in the next 2 weeks or faster. The first thing is, why do peoplenot succeedé First is a lack of knowledge of the correct principals. Second is a lackof knowledge of the correct practices and jump techniques. So basically that is thedifference between what you do versus how you do it. And there is a big difference thatI'm going to go into a little later. Third of all is a lack of discipline or abilityto apply proper jumping techniques consistently over a period of time. And the last one issimply lack of proper nutrition. The first
thing you got to understand is that strengthplus quickness equals explosion (strength + quickness = explosion). When strength andquickness are applied during the same muscle contraction, explosion is the result. Youhave to maximize your muscle strength and you have to maximize your muscle quicknessand neurological response to create that explosion. Now: endurance versus explosion. Trainingyour jump explosion is counterintuitive. You go out there and you jump for an hour,working very hard. You are sweating, training hard, you feel the burn and you think youare training correctly. Most of you are not. You have to train in what is called the improvementzone. If your maximum vertical jump is 32
inches, and most of your training is donejumping at a 12 inch intensity, you are training yourself to jump 12 inches over a long periodof time. You are training your jumping endurance. This is all about the quality over the quantity.Let me give you another example. If you were a sprinter training for the 100 meter dashand your coach says you have to run 2 miles everyday and it is going to train you forthat 100 meter dash. After that workout you are going to be tired, you are going to besweaty and you are going to be training your jump endurance. No sprinter is going to trainby running the mile or 2 mile to run the 100 meter dash. You will be training the wrongtype of muscle fiber. So as long as you keep
training your endurance, you are not goingto be training the right type of fast twitch muscle fiber. There are 9 variables to yourvertical jump training. Each is going to contribute to upward explosion andor momentum. An effectiveprogram that wants to get results very quickly is going to target each facet. So trainingmultiple facets is going to create greater and faster results. For instance: flexibility.Training your flexibility correctly is going to give you more leverage on jumping power.Your form, fuel, your stability, you balance. Learning how to tweak how you jump is goingto help you tweak every aspect of your vertical explosion. Nutrition is huge. It is huge!Nutrition is a discipline. It is hard to get
right but once you get it correct you aregoing to maximize your workout. Your muscles are going to get broken down each workoutand if they don't have the proper nutrition to build them back up and strengthen themand prevent injury and have correct maximum muscle gains, guys, you are missing out ona whole lot. Now, I am going to tell you this over and over again (a lot of people are),but most of you are not going to capitalize on it. You are going to need a mentor. Youare going to have questions. And if you have seen it, Good for you! Today we're gonna be covering all of the advance stuff to rocket jumping Such as speedpogoing, surfing up ramps, and syncing and all of that Let me tell you, the advance part of rocket jumping is so much more fun than the basics. Your mobility is increased, you can fly around the map, and you can do all sorts of crazy insane tricks and stuff. So hopefully you can get something from this tutorial, so that one day you can be a professional rocket jumper! So first off we're gonna start with the speedpogoing.
This is kind of like normal pogoing where you just hop up and down on the ground, But this time we're gonna add a lot of speed to it. And this is probably what you're going to use the most when you rocket jump Now when you're in a pogo, you're basically just looking straight down at the ground and holding down the fire button of course, But when you're speedpogoing there's a whole lot more to it. The timing is a lot different, and you're going to be aiming in different places so that you can keep your speed the whole time. Now when you start of with a normal pogo, you're just going to be looking straight down at the ground,
but once you start gaining speed, with every jump you're going to have to look slightly more upward. And as you can see when we get really fast, we're going to be aiming a lot higher than just straight down Because when you're moving forward, you need your rocket to catch up with you. If you look straight down, your rocket's going to land far behind you and you won't be able to fly forward. So really if you just practice this, you can get the hang of it really quickly. I would suggest before starting a pogo that you aim a bit behind yourself, so that you can give yourself a lot more speed. This sets you up for the other jumps, and you can go really fast really quickly.
The way I like to pogo is to just shoot off of a wall and immediately follow that up with a speedpogo. Now like I said before there's going to be a lot of timing when you do this as well. Because you're not only going to be using pogo on flat surfaces, you're going to be doing it up hills and stuff like that. So you'll have to get the hang of shooting the rocket and knowing when it's gonna land Now pogos are going to be especially useful when you want to get to the front of the line quickly. And you can basically keep all of your speed up in the air, and it's a whole lot faster than just walking everywhere.
Now figuring out where to aim is kind of hard to explain. It's sort of one of those things where you have to practice over and over, and you'll sort of get the hang of it, like you'll mess up and you'll be like, quot;Oh, I should probably aim a little bit more behind myself that time,quot; and then you do it and it works, and then you're like quot;Oh, maybe next time I should aim a little bit higher.quot; So it really just comes down to practicing it and trying it for yourself, and then you'll really understand how it works.

Well, let's take the most commoncarriable rocket launcher, the RPG7, with over 9 million producedand it's most recognizable warhead, the PG7VL. Now the deadly blast radius for thisis four meters with lethal fragments from the warheadflying as far as 150 meters from the impact. An average person can do a high jumparound 1.68 meters,
and the world recordfor the highest jump is 2.45 meters which means you'd still bein the deadly blast radius. But what would actuallyhappen to your body if a rocket exploded that close to youé First there would be a blast waveof highlycompressed air particles that fly at you faster than the speed of sound. Because of the drasticchange in pressure, your eardrums would most likely pop forever.
Immediately following is the shockwavewhich passes through your whole body rupturing organs and tissue. Mixed in with these waves of energyis all the debris from the rocket itself and whatever the rocket was aimed at. So let's say you have strong enough armorto protect you from a warhead that can penetrate 400 millimeters of steel. OK. So could the RPG7's rocket's explosionactually lift youé Not enough to make it worth your while
and definitely not enough to replicatewhat you see in tutorial games. since the launcher's recoils blow back from the rocketwould actually push you down into the explosion. However, a big problem that you'll run intois that the warhead isn't live right after launch. It needs about five meters of inertiafor it to be fully armed. So if you were to point an RPG7at the ground and fire, the rocket would shoot outand nothing would happen. But even if you had magical armorand a powerful enough weapon to technically launch youinto the perfect rocket jump,
